Age Suitability & Safety

This page summarizes who VIXX is for and the safeguards built into the app. It supplements our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which control where any conflict arises.
Minimum age: 18+
You must be at least 18 years old to use VIXX. This minimum is stated in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and is reflected in the app's App Store age rating. VIXX is intended for adults, is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
How the minimum age is enforced
- Agreement gate. Before using the app you must affirmatively accept our Terms of Use, which require that you are at least 18 years old.
- Instagram sign-in. VIXX works by connecting to your existing Instagram account, which itself requires users to be at least 13 and enforces its own age policies.
- Enforcement. If we learn that a user is under the minimum age, we may suspend or terminate their access.
VIXX is a private messaging assistant, not a social network
VIXX helps you read and write replies in your own Instagram direct messages, including AI-generated draft suggestions. It does not host a public feed, does not recommend or surface content for discovery, and does not connect you with other VIXX users. Conversations are private and one-to-one — there is no mechanism that broadcasts or amplifies content to a wider audience.
Content and safety controls
VIXX has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior and gives you tools to keep your experience safe:
- Report. You can report any message or AI-generated content you find objectionable from within a conversation. Reports go to our moderation team.
- Block. You can block a contact. Blocking immediately removes that conversation from your view and flags the interaction for review.
- Moderation. We act on reports of objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours, and may use automated filtering to detect and block objectionable content.

AI-generated content
The app produces AI-generated draft replies. These are suggestions only — you decide what to send. AI output may be inaccurate or inappropriate, and you are responsible for reviewing any content before sending it. Objectionable AI output can be reported using the same in-app reporting tool.
